Hiepphatfood joins Fashion Garment Vietnam for World Food Day 2026

On 16 October 2026, Hiepphatfood Catering was honoured to join Fashion Garment Vietnam in its “Food Sharing Day – World Food Day” programme, themed “Connecting with care, stepping forward together”, in support of World Food Day.

Sharing with the workforce

The programme presented food gift packages of rice, cooking oil and seasoning to the factory’s workers, supported by the company’s trade union, the Administration Department and Hiepphatfood Catering. Each gift was a thank-you to the people who make the company’s products every day.

Zero food waste

Alongside sharing, the programme promoted saving food and avoiding food waste. This is also a principle Hiepphatfood applies in daily kitchen operations:

  • Confirming headcount every day so we cook what is actually needed.
  • Portioning with standard tools to limit leftovers.
  • Prioritising local ingredients delivered daily to reduce stock.
